I liked that the room was spotless and perfect with a terrace looking into the beautiful garden. It had perfect location, next to the most beautiful beach as well as Sri Lanka for 6 weeks.

In general: We spent the most beautiful 9 night in Shadow Surf Bay and I am pretty sure that we could have spend another month without getting bored. From the moment we entered the gates we knew that this place has some magic in it, even if we speak about the wonderful garden, the very clean and beautiful bungalow or the most true hearted, nicest and hospitable family we ever met. They went all over the moon to make our stay amazing. Each day, coming from the beach or our wonderings around this little piece of paradise called Sri Lanka we found a surprise waiting for us. A nice little thing that made us realize that the owner was thinking to us and to make this experience amazing. I can promise, this family energy is made in heaven. They always gave us the best vibe. It was a real pleasure to speak to them, to listen their advices on where to go or what to do. They made us feel that life would be so much better if one is able to live here, surrounded by their smiles and good care. Dearest Pradeep, If you read this, you are the best! We are honoured to have stayed in your piece of eden, to taste the most amazing pancakes and to be a small part of your lives. We hope to return someday and see you all again! We stayed at a peaceful place with a stunning garden, a spacious beach close by, and Tangalle nearby.

This place is really fancy and so nice, plus the staff are super friendly. It's located right next to a pretty garden filled with colorful flowers 🌸, and during the day, you can enjoy views of the ocean. All in all, a lovely spot in Sri Lanka for a six-week stay.

Our stay at this small hotel was worth every penny! The room was impeccably clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The location was perfect, with a beautiful garden and just a short walk from a small beach. The host, Pradeep, was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. An amazing experience overall!

The only suggestion I have for breakfast is to provide some shade on the balcony for when the sun is low.
